Country-level assessment for a banking client. We examined money laundering risk across two Middle East jurisdictions, drawing on a wide range of on-the-ground sources. Our insights mapped how illicit funds enter the financial system, the sectors most exposed, and the chasm between formal AML regulation and and on-the-ground practice.

Enhanced Due Diligence
Investigation into a network of entities and individuals linked to a politically exposed family. We traced the movement of offshore capital and untangled deliberately opaque real estate and corporate holdings. Our findings helped to identify ultimate beneficial ownership and links to corruption scandals.

Bespoke Investigation
Investigation focused on a consortium bidding for a major infrastructure project. Our findings revealed red flag issues pertaining to corruption, undisclosed political connections, labour and human rights violations, and links to sanctioned entities. The report also included recommendations for mitigating the exposure.

Strategic Intelligence
Investigation into a government institution. Our findings identified links to sanctioned entities, facilitation payments required to move goods and funds, and systematic manipulation of public tenders involving officials at multiple levels.
